Electron reflection from a magnetic field filling a half-space is analyzed, and a differential cross section is found for bremsstrahlung and the total energy loss for a single reflection. It is shown that photon emission upon reflection leads to a predominant polarization of electrons opposite the field. For nonrelativistic electrons, this polarization is nearly total.
