Annotation
The general properties of trajectories of the roots of characteristic equations of the Фn(p)+ρψm(p)+ ρ^2Θl(p)=0 type are discussed. The general properties of these trajectories yield the qualitative behavior of the root hodographs. A method is also described for plotting the root trajectories based on methods developed for the root trajectories of equations having a linear free parameter. Examples are given.
