Annotation

Using a microscopic approach, we modify the optical model of nucleonnucleus scattering in the region of the inelastic threshold of light nuclei. Over a wide interval of energy averaging, the excitation of a single-particle resonance is treated as absorption and taken into account in the imaginary part of the optical potential. A self-consistent procedure is used in the calculations.
