Production of particles with large transverse momenta in quantum chromodynamics

It is shown that the assumption that the nonleading terms in the perturbation series cause a certain modification of the result of the leading approximation allows one to consider quark-quark scattering at a large angle to be one of the possible mechanisms for the production of hadrons with large $p_{⊥}$.
