The mathematical modelling of the process of heating of long steel cylindrical detailes for quenching in the inductor with transversal magnetic field

On the basis of Tikhonov regularization theory, the problem of the heating of cylindrical samples under tempering in an inductor with a transverse magnetic field is considered. The a priori requirements on the resulting characteristics of the heating process are determined by the time dependence of the current strength needed for their determination.
