Annotation

A study is made on nonlinear-spectroscopy methods that employ resonant parametric interactions on one-photon electron transitions. A model for the nonlinear. susceptibility is constructed that incorporates several types of relaxation. It is shown that these can be distinguished and identified by experiment.
