Annotation
The problem of the relation between the pressure and wind-velocity fields in atmospheric eddies is solved. On the basis of comparison of the data of full-scale and laboratory experiments, it is proposed that a parameter relating the pressure minimum and the maximum of the surface-wind velocity be used to estimate the intensity of the eddies.
