Argon $3p^53d$ level excitation in the Born distorted-wave approximation

Differential and total cross sections have been derived for the excitation of $3p^53d$ ($J = l$) levels in argon by intermediate-energy electrons; electron-photon correlations in emission from these levels via transition to the ground and $Зр^54р$ states are considered.
