Approximate method for evaluating spectral coefficients of multilayer coatings with weakly nonhomogeneous layers

A new approximate method has been developed for calculating spectral coefficients of multilayer coatings with weakly nonhomogeneous layers. The method was demonstrated to be highly accurate. The most important feature of the method is the simplicity of parametric description of multilayer coatings with non.homogeneous layers, which is a decisive factor for further development of methods for synthesizing such coatings.
