Based on the neutron flux measurements taken in 1996 near the Earth's surface simultaneously in two opposite directions (away from the Earth's surface and towards it), it is established that near the Earth's surface the neutron flux direction changes periodically with season: in winter, it is directed towards the surface, while in summer, away from it.
