Angular correlation of the cascade photons in the course of dielectronic recombination of channeled ions

Annotation

A method based on density matrix tools is proposed for description of the angular correlation of photons in the course of dielectronic recombination of fast ions upon their channeling in oriented crystals. Theoretical calculations are carried out to estimate the size of the effect produced by the interaction between the electron shell of the passing ion and the electrostatic field of the lattice on the shape of the angular correlation using various conditions for setting up the correlation experiment.
