Phase transitions in thin layers of solid solutions К$_x$Na$_{1-x}$NO$_2$

Thin layers of the К$_x$Na$_{1-x}$NO$_2$ system have been obtained from a melt using special techniques. It is shown that a ferroelectric phase transition disappears when the content of К$^+$ ions reaches $x=0,1$. The dielectric constant, pyroelectric current and conductivity diminish with an increase of $x$. These data demonstrate that phase transition temperature goes down when the concentration of impurity grows. A phase diagram of the system under consideration has been plotted.

Представлены результаты измерения показателя преломления сосуществующих фаз на вертикальной стенке кюветы методом предельного угла. Обнаружено, что нижняя фаза системы метанол-гептан при температуре $T_w=44,\!3$ $^о$C образует смачивающий слой, вторгающийся между верхней фазой и стеклянной стенкой кюветы. Наблюдалось появление и исчезновение смачивающего слоя, а также переход предсмачивания.

Гипотеза реального существования флуктуаций вакуума позволяет разрешить ряд важных задач в рамках классической электромагнитной теории, и в частности проблему стабильности атома водорода. Однако известные решения этой задачи противоречивы: Boyer и Puthoff исходят из круговой орбиты электрона, а Nelson показывает, что электрон колеблется в радиальном направлении и имеет нулевой орбитальный момент. Для проверки этих результатов проведен численный эксперимент, который подтвердил, что электрон действительно не падает на ядро, но вопрос о стабильности круговой орбиты в планетарной модели остается открытым.

A relationship between the orientation degree of dye molecules in stretched polyvinyl alcohol films and the concentration of these molecules is found. The electron excitation energy migration among the dye molecules in isotropic and oriented polymer matrices as a function of the molecule concentration is investigated. The results obtained can be attributed to partial reduction of the inhomogeneous spectral broadening of electron levels in luminescent molecules under the activator molecule orientation in the polymer matrix.
