Operation features of dislocation sources in an irregular stress field produced by a slip band

Analysis of the operation of dislocation sources in the vicinity of slip bands with allowance for irregularity of the internal-stress field is carried out by computer simulation. A qualitative relationship is established between the source - triggering voltage, number of active sources, average distance between them, and the parameters of the internal-stress field.
