Annotation
We have carried out numerical computation of the threshold gain increment and excitation time of a stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) mirror with a feedback loop for different parameters of the latter. The theoretical values obtained are compared with the experimental data available on a loop-type SBS mirror used as a cavity mirror of a solid-state laser.
