A simple method of measuring the dielectric constant of slightly absorbing sheet dielectrics using an open resonator in the millimeter wave band is proposed. Measurements of the dielectric constant of a number of specimens were carried out both using the proposed method and a wellknown waveguide method. The results are in good agreement within the limits of experimental error.
