Some features of the antiferromagnetic resonance in MnCl(2)

Annotation

Resonance absorption in $MnCl_2$ corresponding to the low-frequency branch of the antiferromagnetic resonance is studied. Measurements are performed at frequencies of 9.2 and 38 GHz in the temperature region 1.4- 4.2° K. The experimental data are compared to the conclusion of the theory of light-plane antiferro magnetics. Effects which tend to alter the size of the gap in the low-frequency branch are discussed.
