Resonant photoionization of helium in the region between the second and third thresholds

Annotation

The total and partial cross sections of resonant photoionization of helium in the region between the second and third thresholds are calculated using the method of interacting configurations in complex-number representation. In the calculation, account is taken of the interaction of four configurations of open channels and 20 configurations of closed channels. The curves and characteristics of the resonances obtained are compared, where possible, with existing experimental data.
