Annotation
Aqueous solutions of rnodamine 6G have been used to show that one can determine the spectra of dyes and other polyatomic organic compounds correctly only if allowance is made for adsorption at the surface of the solution. The criterion is given for making the corresponding corrections and a method for compensating for surface effects.
