Annotation

We develop an exact formulation of the dynamical theory of diffraction in perfect crystals using new recurrence relations for the amplitude reflection and transmission coefficients obtained by the authors. This formulation contains as an approximation the results of Darwin's dynamical theory. We consider the Bragg (finite and semi-infinite crystals) and Laue cases.
