Annotation
The luminescence spectrum characteristics of solutions of rhodamine dyes with methylene blue in binary solvents have been studied. It is shown that processes of their heterogeneous association depend on the size and composition of the solvation shells of the dye molecules. A mechanism is suggested which explains loss of the fluorescence ability by heterogeneous associates of the dyes studied.
