Asymptotic representation of electromagnetic field of a waveguide in the neighborhood of a boundary edge

Annotation

The method first suggested by V.A. Kondrat'ev has been applied to construct an asymptotic representation of the electromagnetic field of a waveguide nearby the boundary edge. An explicit form of the spectral problem solution in the neighborhood of the edge where the waveguide has a sector-shaped cross-section has been given.
