Using the generalized t'Hooft—Veltman technique, the divergent part of the oneloop effective Yang—Mills action in a special gauge, containing the fourth powers of the ghost fields and admitting the addition of a BRST-invariant mass term, is calculated. The result is BRST-invariant and determines the relationship between the bare and renormalized mass, coupling constants, and the gauge parameter.
