The Faraday effect in water, water—alcohol and Н$_2$О + D$_2$O solutions is studied. A nonmonotonic temperature dependence of the Н$_2$О magnetooptical anomaly factor is established which is associated with heterogeneous structure of water. In Н$_2$О + D$_2$O solutions, the additivity law for the Verdett constant is obeyed. The restructuring of water—alcohol systems depending on the ethanol concentration $C_{\bf C_2H_5OH}$causes the Faraday effect nonlinear dependence on $C_{\bf C_2H_5OH}$.
