Annotation
Yu.L. Klimontovich’s assertion on the incorrectness of the quantum Nyquist formula is discussed. It is shown that, in quantum physics, Rytov’s fluctuation formula, the Casimir force theory as treated by E.M. Lifshitz, and the quantum Nyquist formula are all incorrect, as they are united by a common basis.
