Annotation
The possibility of creating a recursive method for the calculation of tree-level elements of an $S$-matrix based on the functional integration method is considered, as exemplified by scalar electrodynamics. One of the advantages of this method is the gauge invariance of amplitudes provided without additional operations with them.
