Дифракционное отражение и прохождение рентгеновских лучей в идеальных кристаллах

Дифракционное отражение и прохождение рентгеновских лучей в идеальных кристаллах

A.В. Колпаков

Moscow University Physics Bulletin 1970. N 2.

Reaction of an interelectrode region with a virtual cathode to a temperature change of the electron beam

Reaction of an interelectrode region with a virtual cathode to a temperature change of the electron beam

M.N. Devyatkov and G.I. Ovchinnikova

Moscow University Physics Bulletin 1970. 25. N 1. P. 1

The temperature dependence of a modified diode is calculated approximately for conditions corresponding to the existence of a virtual cathode. The results of an experimental study of the reaction of such a diode to a temperature change of the electron beam are found to agree with the calculated results.

Nonlinear treatment of atmospheric flow around an irregularity of arbitrary profile on the earth's surface

Nonlinear treatment of atmospheric flow around an irregularity of arbitrary profile on the earth's surface

V.N. Kozhevnikov and V.V. Kozoderov

Moscow University Physics Bulletin 1970. 25. N 1. P. 6

A new method is described for constructing the solution for flow around an arbi trary profile. The effects of profile features at the lower boundary on the solu tion of the two-dimensional steady-state problem of lee waves are studied. An actual mountain profile is obtained, and the field of stream functions is plotted in dimensionless form. This particular solution is analyzed.

Effect of the finite size of a nucleus having a magnetic dipole moment on pair photocreation with an account of particle polarization

Effect of the finite size of a nucleus having a magnetic dipole moment on pair photocreation with an account of particle polarization

В.K. Kerimov and Kh.A. Ablakulov

Moscow University Physics Bulletin 1970. 25. N 1. P. 9

The angular distribution and longitudinal polarization of electron-positron pairs formed by circularly polarized photons in the field of a nucleus having a magnetic dipole moment are found in the Born approximation with an account of the mean square radius and force moment of the nuclear charge and magnetic-moment distribu tions. The effects of and on the spectra of charge and magnetic pair photocreation are steady.

Comparison of linear and nonlinear methods for interpolating and extrapolating a markovian signal

Comparison of linear and nonlinear methods for interpolating and extrapolating a markovian signal

L.I. Mirkin and R.L. Stratonovich

Moscow University Physics Bulletin 1970. 25. N 1. P. 17

Linear and nonlinear filtration methods are prepared. The method of conditional Markovian processes is used to find a procedure for nonlinear interpolation and extrapolation of a double Markovian signal. The results are compared with the analogous results for linear filters.

Bogolyubov inequality in the statistical mechanics of classical systems

Bogolyubov inequality in the statistical mechanics of classical systems

В.I. Sadovnikov and K. Bukli

Moscow University Physics Bulletin 1970. 25. N 1. P. 24

An analog of the Bogolyubov inequality is proved for two-time temperature Green's functions in the statistical mechanics of classical systems. The use of the results is illustrated with an example.

Inertial forces in the three-dimensional chronometrically invariant two-metric formalism

Inertial forces in the three-dimensional chronometrically invariant two-metric formalism

V.A. Barynin

Moscow University Physics Bulletin 1970. 25. N 1. P. 30

A three-dimensional chronometrically invariant vector potential for inertial forces is constructed within the framework of the three-dimensional, chonometrically invariant, two-metric formalism from the components of the metric tensor gαβ. The concept of an inertial reference system is formulated for undeformed reference systems in which time can be synchronized at all spatial points, and an expression is found for the inertial force in terms of its potential.

Theory of the cyclotron-resonance maser

Theory of the cyclotron-resonance maser

A.F. Kurin

Moscow University Physics Bulletin 1970. 25. N 1. P. 33

The model of a cyclotron-resonance maser with a TEM-field of a cavity near an elec tron beam is discussed. It is shown that generation is possible when nonrelativis tic electrons interact with both the forward and backward waves; an expression is given for the trigger current. A comparison is made of the effects on negative absorption of various bunching mechanisms in a TEM-wave in cavities, in which the interaction time is finite, and in waveguides.

Photon emission by electrons reflected from a magnetic field

Photon emission by electrons reflected from a magnetic field

Yu.M. Loskutov and V.M. Zakhartsov

Moscow University Physics Bulletin 1970. 25. N 1. P. 38

Electron reflection from a magnetic field filling a half-space is analyzed, and a differential cross section is found for bremsstrahlung and the total energy loss for a single reflection. It is shown that photon emission upon reflection leads to a predominant polarization of electrons opposite the field. For nonrelativistic electrons, this polarization is nearly total.

Magnetooptical properties of Ni-Co alloys and their natural visible and ir frequencies

Magnetooptical properties of Ni-Co alloys and their natural visible and ir frequencies

Ngo Tuan Zung

Moscow University Physics Bulletin 1970. 25. N 1. P. 41

The equatorial curve effect was measured in the visible and IR regions(0.15-3 eV) for Ni-Co alloys covering the entire composition range from pure Ni to pure Co. There is a discussion of the effect of the crystal structure of a ferromagnet on the position of the natural frequencies and the shape of the dispersion curve for the magnetooptical effect.
