Physical-chemical investigation of some superconducting alloys of the Pd-Pb-Bi system (the PdBi—PdPb and PdBi2-PdPb2 sections)

PdBi2-PdPb2 and PdBi-PdPb sections were investigated by X-ray, micro3copic, and thermographic methods. It was established that triple solid solutions are formed on the basis of the compounds PdBi2, PdPb2, and PdBi with partial substitution of bismuth or lead atoms. The change in the periods of the elementary cells and in the minimum interatomic distances when the composition of the triple solid solutions is changed is determined.
