Annotation
The magnetocaloric effect in tebrium-dysprosium alloys has been investigated. It is shown that the efficiency of employing rare-earth metals and their alloys in magnetic refrigerators depends on the range of existence of antiferromagnetic structures and the fields in which they are destroyed.
