The possibility of coupling a double-loop stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) mirror with a solid-state laser cavity has been experimentally established. Retaining the single-mode transverse intensity distribution, a substantial rise of the output power of the laser has been attained. The advantage of the double-loop SBS mirror over the ordinary mirrors excited in a single beam pass through the nonlinear laser medium has been experimentally demonstrated.
