Superhigh magnetic fields and two-dimensional electrodynamics of a vacuum
Yu. M. Loskutov and V.V. Skobelev
The polarization of photons in a superhigh magnetic field is obtained using the unitarity condition and the dispersion technique. Some applications are considered.
Show AbstractPhysical-chemical investigation of some superconducting alloys of the Pd-Pb-Bi system (the PdBi—PdPb and PdBi2-PdPb2 sections)
Physical-chemical investigation of some superconducting alloys of the Pd-Pb-Bi system (the PdBi—PdPb and PdBi2-PdPb2 sections)
N.N. Zhuravlev
PdBi2-PdPb2 and PdBi-PdPb sections were investigated by X-ray, micro3copic, and thermographic methods. It was established that triple solid solutions are formed on the basis of the compounds PdBi2, PdPb2, and PdBi with partial substitution of bismuth or lead atoms. The change in the periods of the elementary cells and in the minimum interatomic distances when the composition of the triple solid solutions is changed is determined.

Investigation of the space-time characteristics of turbulence in a liquid
N.K. Shelkovnikov, L.A. Bukina,and P.V. Mironov
The space-time correlations of the velocity in a chute over a rough bottom are measured. The time Lagrangian scale is determined from the envelope of the maxima of R ( X1,0,0,t). The values of the mixing path are found from the Prandtl formula and from the value of the Lagrangian time scale.

A.I. Akishin, G.M. Grigor'eva, L.I. Kolykhalova, L.B. Kreinin, A.P. Landsman, and V.G. Nazarov
Experimental data are presented on the action of α-particles on p - silicon and silicon n-p junctions in the energy range from 0.4 to 25.2 MeV. A comparison is also made with proton action.

Momentum flux in monochromatic waves of great height
N.V. Kontoboitseva
A laboratory investigation of the momentum flux in the upper layer of water when regular monochromatic waves of considerable slope propagate is described. The distributions of the total and purely turbulent momentum fluxes with depth are obtained. The numerical values of the total momentum fluxes in the upper levels are approximately an order of magnitude greater than the momentum fluxes found from the pulsations of the vertical and horizontal velocity components.

Stimulated emission of electrons moving in a medium in an intense wave field
Yu.G. Pavlenko, A.Kh. Mussa, and A.S. Vshivtsev
The spectral - angular characteristics of spontaneous and stimulated emission when electrons move in a medium in a wave field are obtained. The stimulated emission is investigated as a function of the wave intensity and also as a function of the refractive index of the medium.

Vu An Fi and V.I. Medvedev
The operation of a balanced parametron circuit when there is a mutual inductance M present between the tuned circuits, and also taking into account the effect of the resistance of the automatic bias circuit Rp and the resistance of the parametric generator in the forward direction Ri is investigated.
