Electrical and photoelectrical properties of a-Si:H films subjected to high-temperature annealing in hydrogen
Electrical and photoelectrical properties of a-Si:H films subjected to high-temperature annealing in hydrogen
I.A. Kurova, М.А. Nal'gieva, and N.N. Ormont
Photoconduction is discovered in a-Si:H films subjected to thermal annealing at а temperature Та ≥ 560°С in hydrogen. In the low-temperature region, the dark conduction of the annealed films relies on а hopping mechanism with variable hopping distance. The presence of hopping transfer points to а high density of states of broken bonds in silicon (р~10^{19}cm^{-3} eV^{-1}). It is demonstrated that the development of photoconduction in the films of interest following their annealing may bе due to the formation of а photosensitive layer having а microcrystalline structure.

Structural transformations in alloyed TiNi: decomposition of solid solutions and martensitic transformations
Е.А. Brovkina and A.G. Khundzhua
Alloys relating to the three main sections of the Ti-Ni-Me system (Me-alloying metal) that correspond to the formulas Ti$_{50}$Ni$_{50-x}$Me$_x$, Ti$_{50-x}$Ni$_{50}$Me$_{x}$, Ti$_{50-x}$Ni$_{50-x}$Me$_{2x}$ are considered. The experimental data availaЫe on the solubllity of alloying elements, martensitic transformations, and decomposition of solid solutions in the above systems are analyzed. The conclusion is drawn that there exist at least two types of decomposition of the В2 solid solution in TiNi-base alloys, each being accompanied Ьу the appropriate changes in the characteristics of martensitic transformations.

Isostatic equilibrium of the Earth's crust and upper mantle
N.A. Chuikova and T.G. Maksimova
This study of statistical links between the heights of equivalent terrain and the depths of the mantle surface (М) for different regions on earth estaЫishes the nonlinearity of the transfer of load onto М and back. Knowledge of the direct and backward regression functions makes it possiЫe to separate the equations of overall core equilibrium into two equations, whose solution yields the optimal compensation depths that minimize а functional that depends on the anomalies in the density and stresses in the crust and upper mantle. The distribution of anomalous masses and stresses in the crust and mantle is also determined.

Extra-solar planets in blnary stellar systems
N.A. Solovaya
Within the theory of the unlimited three-body proЫem, i.е., а planet orblts one component in а Ьinary stellar system, the dynamic stabllity of extra-solar planets is examined. The distance between the stars is much Ьigger than that between one star and the planet. The possiЫe conditions of dynamic stabllity are represented Ьу orbltal parameters: the mutual inclination of the orblts, the ratio of their major semiaxes, and the masses of the components. The systems Gliese 86 and 61 Cygni are theoretically studied. The results are corroborated Ьу numerical integration.

Ву the method of connected kinetic equations, an experiment on the passage of а beam of multiply charged ions through а solid target and through а target separated into distant layers has been simulated. The role of the ions excited states in the observed effect has been determined.
